Natalia Misslin is specialising in evening and bridal wear as customers are more open and responsive to the new ideas Natalia is offering. Natalia combines her knowledge of the structure of garments to an artistic awareness of trends. She offers her expertise in designing to provide the bride, bridesmaids and guests with the most flattering garment. Her designs are more than unique, the wide choice of quality silks (Duchess Satin, Dupion, Satin, chiffon, crepe, Organza...) and the throughout quality of the finishing are ensuring peace of mind and comfort. The quality and finishing of a Natalia design turn a special occasion into a comfortable and stylish experience. Bridal wear is often associated to ivory and classicism but experience showed that more than often an original garment can leave a lasting souvenir. Designing a garment is more than just sewing. The personality and character of each part have to be taken into account. The bride will take centre-place and thus needs to be confident that she is at her best. To add to a special event, as part of one of Natalia's designs, or on its own, We are also providing an exceptional range of jewellery. Natalia's will tailor make the perfect piece for you and will rework any existing designs to suit each customer's style and personality. With Natalia's guidance, you can create a unique piece of jewellery for your wedding
THE PROCESS 1. Find a designer by looking at portfolios and samples of work 2. Make an appointment to discuss ideas; your designer will be able to sketch and gain an insight into what you want. Shape and fabric will be discussed. 3. A first fitting is arranged where your design is made in cotton, called a toile. Any amendments or changes of design should happen here. This could take two or even three fittings until you are both happy. If the design is finalised, the designer will go ahead and create the dress in the fabric you have both decided on. 4. A final fitting will take place with the dress in its completed form. The point to remember is that the process is entirely different and, with a designer, you finish with an original bridal gown. Designers have their own unique style which they give to any gown they create; some will specialise in boned bodices, another in unusual fabrics. Finding a designer to suit you and creating your dream wedding gown together is a fun process and an experience you’ll never forget.
